One of the top “glue guys” in the area is another player on the list of prospects who are departing George School this summer. For the 2025-26 season Melniczak has decided to take his talents to Malvern Prep and join a lineup that is ready to compete for the Inter-Ac title. Former George School Head Coach Ben Luber once described Melniczak as a “sleeper” prospect who did all the dirty work on the 2024-25 George School team. Last season, Melniczak posted 6.5 points and 4.5 assists per contest. This past winter he was also a major presence on the defensive end for George School. On the spring 2025 grassroots circuit Melniczak has displayed a highly accurate 3-point shot with logo distance range. He has also proven to be a high IQ transition player with a tremendous feel for when to score or distribute on the fast break.
