This was the first time I’ve gotten to see DiSanto in action in a while and it looked like he hasn’t skipped a beat after a transfer held him out the second half of the OHSAA season. One of Ohio’s top shooters in the 2028 class, DiSanto knocked in five or six 3-pointers in the contest with a couple coming from well behind the college 3-point line. With a quick trigger and range that extends well beyond the high school line, DiSanto can catch the defense off guard with the confidence he shoots the basketball and he’s earned that confidence with excellent in-game shot-making. Add in the fact DiSanto looks stronger and has grown since the start of his sophomore season and he seems to be gearing up for a big junior season with Moeller in the GCL South.

DiSanto is one of the elite shooters in Ohio and lit up the scoreboard from downtown playing in his hometown this weekend. While his prolific shooting ability grabs the headlines and is his most impressive skill, DiSanto has shown improvement handling the ball with his left hand and using that off hand to finish at the rim. Wildcat Select 15 U has a lot of talented slashers that help generate easy shots for DiSanto and he shot an extremely high percentage this weekend.

One of the top shooters in the 2028 class, DiSanto had an impressive freshman season where he finished ninth in the Cincinnati Hills League in points per game and led the conference in made 3-pointers. Very impressive to shoot 3-pointers at the volume and percentage that DiSanto was at last season. I’ve also noticed DiSanto starting to fill out his frame and add muscle. Watch out for DiSanto with Wildcat Select on the 3SSB circuit this summer.

DiSanto was one of the few players I had already seen a few times prior to the camp. Playing up for All Ohio Red 15 U in the spring and watching Indian Hills at the Miami (OH) team camp, I knew what to expect with DiSanto. After a slow start, DiSanto got comfortable with his team and started to set the table for his teammates. His best pass of the day was a full court heave from one corner of the court to the other which set up a corner 3-pointer. What DiSanto is known for is his shooting ability and he got hot in a hurry with a handful of 3-pointers and floaters.
