RJ has been emerging all summer long with Carolina Pressure , so he was one I definitely wanted to get eyes on in a high school jersey. Whetstone is a true two-way player – a guy who takes just as much pride on the defensive end of the floor as he does on the offensive end. And, as the Point Guard, he has just as much responsibility to lead by example as he does vocally. He’s still fine-tuning his skillset, but his passing, spot-up shooting, and strength through contact are some of the early things that have been impactful.

RJ is one of the new names I’m starting to learn this summer. I really like what he brings defensively because he fights screens, has active hands, and trusts his instincts. He is also pretty balanced offensively, as I had him tracked for 9 points and 4 assists in game one on Friday. Keep an eye on him and an emerging 2028 class at AC Flora.
