More important then PJ’s ranking which is #83 is the fact that he is healthy. A scary situation occurred a week ago when PJ collapsed, thank God for the quick actions of coach Sheehy and Coach Paul as well as the athletic trainers and administrators from Chaminade high school the young man survived and is doing well. The Nassau county police and emts also arrived quickly on the scene. PJ headed to Scranton University to play is a load in the paint. Hard to move out when he gets you on his back. Able to score consistently around the rim. Strong rebounder and post defender. A leader on the floor does everything you need from a post player to win games.

Some were surprised when PJ was on my list of top players in the Catholic school league on the Island. But they shouldn’t be anymore . The University of Scranton commit was very impressive at this event. A big physical body he showed he would not be intimidated against by the tough city post players. A physical presence inside. Might not be an athletic player but makes up for that with size and determination. But he does enough athletically. Scores inside with either hand. Clears space in the post to muscle up or corral rebounds.

A big bruiser has committed to the University of Scranton. They will love his physical play. He makes you earn it if you come into the lane. Offensively he commands the post. Can score inside with either hand. Gives high energy on the court. A big man not afraid to get on the floor for loose balls, outstanding rebounder using his size to clear space and secure the ball.
