Blackwell provided much needed floor spacing for a BW Elite squad that features a host of guards who thrive at creating off the dribble. This wiry guard once again proved that he is highly accurate long-range shooter by draining spot up triples as well as threes out of designed plays and off kick out passes. Blackwell’s quick release and logo distance range are natural fit for the up-tempo style of play on the grassroots circuit. His ability to find space along the arc in transition and then rapidly get his feet set for a shot was noteworthy too. Plus, Blackwell displayed the ability to get to the rim in transition.
