How do you think your team and yourself performed throughout this season?rn-I feel we preformed alright throughout the season, started off slow but really picked things up going into the second half of the season and playoffs. We for sure were playing some of our best basketball in those playoffs and State tourney and it was an experience I’ll never forget, I’m glad I got to be apart of that Squad and Lead it. I feel like I played pretty good. I got league MVP so that is a solid accomplishment I averaged 5 assist so I always got my team involved. And I feel my leadership was solid considering where we ended.
What was the biggest obstacle you and your team faced this season?rn-I’m not sure how to answer this question.
What do you think you improved most on the court?rn-My ability to find shooters, and cutters. Also my ability to shoot the 3. As well as leadership. What are you looking to improve before the next level? I am getting Stronger, Faster, Smarter. Just being able to learn more about the game, finding openings, etc. I want to keep my 3 as consistent as possible, and better my free throws for sure. And on ball Defense on smaller, faster, guards. It’s exciting to know that there is so many things to improve on.
Who are some teammates that you think stood out this season? Who are some teammates who could have breakout years next year in your eyes?rn-

played a big role with me this year. His ability to attack the rim, being athletic, his defense was really good and we got to see that in the State tournament. I feel Wesco is less physical so he couldn’t really showcase his defense at the level it’s actually at. Brayden Fisher the freshman is a kid who is always in the gym. Whether it’s 6am or 11pm, this kid is always finding out ways to better his game. He is a top 5 shooter Regardless of class in Wa. I’m excited to see where his game will be at as he keeps growing in his future years.

played a huge role, in the state tournament he showcased his ability to score from anywhere, and pass the ball from anywhere. He’s one of the shiftiest ball handlers I’ve seen and I feel he has a strong case to be the best player in Wesco next year truthfully.

The 6-foot-5 combo guard has been steadily improving since last season and the full scope of his work and potential were on display at the 3A state tournament this year. He averaged over 21 points and 11 boards, and led his team to the biggest upset of the tournament. He’s shown he can take over games with his scoring with a pack of moves from the triple threat and mid-range, but he’s also a guy with great vision that can manipulate defenses and facilitate. He was previously recruited by Western Oregon, Central Washington, and Eastern Washington.

This top 15/20 player within the 2023 class is still uncommitted. D1 and D2 coaches NEED to jump on Parker’s radar now. He can score at all 3 levels effectively and plays defense very well. He’s a leader for this Shorecrest team who could surprise quite a few people. Against Archbishop-Murphy, he dropped 22 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists, and 4 steals. He might flirt around a triple double multiple times this year.

Baumann has a strong case to be a first-team All-State player. He plays a versatile game with so much calm and control that he may have gone overlooked last year. Well, he had a phenomenal spring and summer which helped him get some of the recognition he deserves. He’ll be the main source of points and playmaking for a Shorecrest team that went 20-4 last season. Baumann is a creative player with exceptional size as a guard.

looked the part all summer with BDH Elite after he tore it up as a junior for Shorecrest (20 ppg, 9 rpg, 6apg; 1st Team All-Wesco). Parker is a smart and highly-skilled guard with the ideal size at 6-foot-5. The Western Oregon commit has shown that he’s a two-way player, a great decision maker and offensive leader. He exhibits the phrase, “take what the defense gives you”.
