Athletic guard with a well-rounded skill set and plenty of traits to build on. His length and activity stood out on both ends, helping him impact the offensive glass, passing lanes, and transition game. Showed a developing mid-range game with good touch on pull-ups while also showing the ability to attack and finish through contact. Defensively, played with good energy and tight coverage. Also showed some leadership qualities, encouraging teammates and playing with confidence in others. Williams is an intriguing and gifted player west of the Rockford area.

A tall and lanky now-6’4 guard/forward combo, Williams has all the physical tools to grow into an elite player. His natural athleticism pops on the floor and gives him the ability to cover ground effortlessly, making his presence felt on seemingly every play. Williams also displayed strong rebounding and wasn’t afraid to crash the glass. I would love to see Williams improve his offensive consistency close to the hoop – if he can develop a dependable mid-range jumper and finesse his shooting, he could easily be a player at the next level.
