Morehead displays an advanced scoring package that has improved even more since his junior campaign. The crafty lead guard for the Pretzels consistently creates separation on a shifty handle while comfortably getting to his spots for pull-up high rise jumpers or splashing home 3’s at high clip. He is able to get defenders off balance with some shake in his dribble and then use his quick first step to get by. In the transition game, Morehead pushes the ball on the primary break phase to create opportunities for himself and others with plus speed. He excels with solid bounce at the cup on his finishes and is confident approaching bigger sized bodies in that department because of his fluid athletic ability. His versatility and two-way impact will create advantages in multiple facets of the game through his senior year. As the only junior on the NIC10 first team list this past season from a conference that put 2 teams in a sectional final, Morehead should make an argument as an MVP candidate.

A very-athletic guard prospect from Freeport High School in Illinois, Kazion uses his speed and strength to get to his spots on offense. He hit quite a few tough, contested jumpers this past weekend. Morehead’s effort on both ends of the floor was apparent as he sold out all game long. There aren’t any glaring weaknesses in his game and with his unique mix of athleticism and intensity, Kazion should have a huge summer with Team FVV .
