The 6-8 junior wing has a good combination skillset of length and athleticism where he can become a versatile prospect on the offensive end. Mayfield is a gradual three-level scorer who has continued to improve his outside shooting this season where he is shooting nearly 30 percent from beyond the arc this season. On the defensive end, Mayfield has added solid rim protection where he is very active when it comes to pursuing the glass and limiting the opposition from getting a second chance to score. Mayfield should see a ton of schools pursue him for his recruitment process before his junior season comes to an end.

The 6-7 junior forward plays with a ton of presence whether it’s on the interior or his versatile guarding around the perimeter. Mayfield has recorded a double-double in three of his team’s first five games this season. Mayfield also does a great job when it comes to scoring across all three levels as he has gained a ton of confidence in his offensive game so far this season.

The 6-7 junior was not your typical rim-runner as he does a great job of handling the basketball out on the perimeter where he can finish above the rim with a quick first step.
