Carter was arguably the top athlete at the event, as he showcased his athleticism on both sides of the floor. There was a sequence where Carter had a high-flying breakaway dunk, then ran back down the floor to block a shot at the rim. Mo will definitely be one of the top forwards in the PIL this coming season. (AG)

Carter flirted with transferring during the summer but decided to stay at Wells, where he’ll be a mainstay down in the post but he also has the ability to step outside and create. Blessed with 6-foot-8 height and explosive athleticism, he’ll make a huge impact on both ends for the Guardians when his motor is in full gear.

Muhammed showed a lot to like at the Pop-Up, displaying athleticism on the go to the hoop, both offensively and defensively, as well as great activity to run the floor, and an attacking mindset on the glass. He has some quiet explosiveness that really showed up with his ability to rebound outside his area and go up with strength to bring balls down with two hands around multiple players. He was a key rim defender in transition and in the half, and did a great job going in strong when he caught with momentum to the hoop to finish through defenders.

Carter is a young big man who flashed some good potential affecting the game with his length. He timed up some shots inside for blocks, was active on the glass, and showed some strength to finish through contact in the paint. He was also able to cover some surprising ground to get out on 3-point shooters from the paint and get good contests on shots.

Rounding out the top five is Carter, who earns the nod not necessarily because of his production so far but rather his potential. He’s got great size at 6-foot-6 with strength, runs the floor and finishes at the rim, and can really dominate on the glass. As his skills continue to get refined against top-level competition this spring and summer, Carter’s upside will further be revealed.
