Berkmar currently sits at #4 in our top 25 and White is a big reason why. White has always been productive in the scoring column and he’s now proving that he can do it against the highest level of talent. He’s got a confident trigger from beyond the arc and attacks the cup with both physicality and finesse. If White keeps playing at this level and Berkmar keeps winning, his recruitment is bound to pick up.

I’ve been a fan of Mike White for a while now and his name began stirring up chatter amongst college coaches in July. White returns as the primary scorer for Mountain View and the White-Blair duo will likely surprise some people this year. He’s a stockier guard that can score at all three levels and uses his body well to embrace contact around the rim. He’s a strong ball-handler capable of running the point for a college program. While the biggest question lies on the defensive end, the effort certainly isn’t lacking. Reinhardt was the first to offer back in June.

Up from No. 84: Well-rounded scorer with a knockdown three-point shot. Scores off the dribble with pull-ups and can use his powerful frame to finish through defenders at the rim. Has the strength to play multiple positions. Holds value in small-ball lineups.

Schools from all levels were interested in watching Mike White at GBCA Live. The burly shot-maker didn’t disappoint, leading Mountain View to a 4-0 record winning the Red Bracket.  White tipped off the event, posting 16 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 1 block in a 47-39 win over Marist after trailing 27-21 at the break. White drilled four threes and used his strength to get downhill and score trough contact.

White returns at Mountain View’s leader this year and played the role well at KSU. The Mountain View needed a bucket, Mike White came through. Tough finishes through contact, knockdown three-pointers, and key plays on the defensive end, White did it all. With the live periods ahead, I’d encourage D2 programs across the southeast to check in on White.

Up from No. 96Strongly built off guard that can score from different levels. Good outside shooter gets to his spots. When he decides to take it all the way to the hoop, he’s strong enough to absorb contact and still finish. White is a competitive rebounder and can help guard larger players.
