Gause is a quick, attacking guard who excels at getting downhill off the dribble and putting pressure on opposing defenses. He is difficult to keep out of the paint, using his quickness and slashing ability to create scoring opportunities around the rim. Gause is reliable with the basketball in his hands and has the ability to make plays in the open floor or against a set defense. He continues to develop as a perimeter shot maker, adding another dimension to his offensive game. Expect the senior to take on a significant role for Berkmar this season, where his ability to attack the basket and create offense should make him a valuable contributor.
