Schmainda missed most of the season, but is back healthy and has Brookfield East picking up steam late. Because their record wasn’t the best in his absence, I think people are forgetting about them a bit. They’re fresh off a win over Madison La Follette, a game that saw Matt pour in 27 points to lead his team to a win. Schmainda is a knockdown shooter from outside who has to be accounted for at all times, but he’s also a very strong guard who can attack the basket and utilize his frame to finish through contact. Brings not only scoring ability, but poise and a high basketball IQ to the floor.
