Evans has been electric to start the season, even in lopsided wins. He’s knocking down threes, attacking downhill, and disrupting opposing guards defensively. His ability to stay engaged in blowouts speaks to his motor but ability to understand the situation. With him, it’s not only about scoring, but he’s also one of the top assisters in the conference, and also he has plenty of steals. He’s able to affect the game without having to rely only on scoring. Holy Family’s pace benefits from his energy, and he’s been one of the early surprises.

Evans brings a strong defensive presence and has already shown he can score at all three levels. The Expo is the place he can take the next step by refining his shot selection and becoming more efficient in his scoring. Adding more playmaking like using his speed to collapse defenses and set up teammates, would make him even more dynamic. If he continues to lock in on defense while showing he can create for others as well as himself, he’ll raise his stock as a complete two way guard
