Lillo stood out for us this summer as he didn’t have to be the primary source of the offense to be effective. We saw him this Spring and he’s explosive and doesn’t shy away from contact. He initiates the offense when he has to, moves without the ball and faced up and scored on the move. Lillo finishes through contact, works the glass and established himself around the basket, but the piece that really made me write his name down was seeing him put the ball on the floor and push in transition. That’s where the long-term intrigue comes in. Holy Family will give us a chance to see how those tools translate once he’s playing within a high school system and dealing with bigger, and stronger competition. I’m especially interested in how his mobility, and athleticism translates. There’s a lot still to uncover, but Lillo gave us enough to make sure we keep checking back in. He’s on the watch list as a 2030 to keep tabs on.

Lillo is a player who caught our attention for Colorado Magic earlier this month due to his physical presence and the way he commanded attention. He’s a player you gravitate towards when watching, as he shows intrigue long-term. He finishes through contact, he’s a big body inside who goes inside and scores easily, and the work on the boards is entertaining as well. His size makes him an interesting high upside prospect, but his ability to put the ball on the floor and push it in transition makes him a player I could see making some noise early on. Holy Family is getting a player worth following.

Lillo brought a strong, physical presence to the floor, using his size to establish position and attack the basket with authority. He was a reliable option inside, consistently working to get touches in the paint and finish through contact. Lillo also played a major role on the boards, securing rebounds and helping his team control possession. One of his more impressive traits was his ability to push the pace after securing a rebound, showing comfort handling the ball in transition and initiating offense. His combination of strength, effort, and mobility made him a key contributor on both ends of the floor.
