Ritter was one of the best players in the 4th region this season and made huge strides as his career progressed over the last few seasons. An Academic superstar, Mason will play his college ball at Columbia in the Ivy League.

Mason has come a long way with his development over the length of his career. Now one of the best bigs in Kentucky, Ritter has become an explosive dunker and strong rebounder whose game has become more well rounded as time has gone by. He’s headed to Columbia and should be a force in the Ivy League.

was second in scoring last season for Bowling Green and one of three double digit scorers. He put up 12.7 points a game, led the team in field goal percentage (61.3%), and in rebounding with 10.4 a game. Mason is a double-double machine. He’s a hard worker on the court and certainly one of the best big men in the fourth region and the state. Ritter held many college offers, and committed to Columbia University.

is their beast on the low block. Mason’s best basketball is all ahead of him but for the next 6 months, his goal is singularly on getting out of the 4th region and getting to Rupp Arena.

Ritter is the inverse of Evans in a lot of ways. Mason plays super hard and goes all out, maximizing his athleticism and skill set. A high academic prospect in addition to holding 5+ D1 offers, Mason could be an all league player in college as his game continues to get more well rounded.

Ritter was doing what he does best on Saturday as he scored around the rim and rebounded at a high level. Look for Mason to potentially add a lot of new offers this month.

Ritter’s recruiting has been quiet lately but I’m not exactly sure why. He’s been impressive in June with Bowling Green and has exceptional academics. A bruising post with the ability to face up, there could be a barrage of offers coming for Mason with a good July with a new team on the UAA.

Ritter led his team to a victory over Evangel Christian in what might’ve been the best game I saw all day. Ritter is a little undersized as a center but makes up for it with skill and strength. A load on the low block, Ritter has good touch shooting over his left shoulder and makes the right pass when double teamed. Defensively, Ritter knows where to be and competes but lacks a little in terms of rim protection and explosiveness but makes up for it with his rebounding ability. Ritter only has two Division I offers and they were both around a year ago. In the right fit, Ritter could be a productive player at the low to mid major level and should be a guy college coaches target during the second June live period and throughout July.
