Lawson transferred to Trinity from Western and brings multiple years of starting experience to the Rocks backcourt. Known for his shooting at the point guard spot, Josiah should offer a steady hand for one of the top teams in the state, assuming he gets eligible.
The 7th region doesn’t have a ton of size this year but Krezmien provides a true post presence for the Tigers and will be a tough matchup for most Louisville teams this season. Graham is a strong player with a knack for scoring with his back to the basket and pulling down timely rebounds. For St. X to win the 7th, he’ll need to be one of the best bigs in the city.
“Man Man” is one of the best athletes in the state in the 25 class. He holds multiple D1 offers on the football field and is a good basketball player too. In order for him to get Woodford back to Rupp Arena, Smith needs to be an improved scorer while also maintaining his top notch defense that he’s known for.
Jordan, like Krezmien, is one of only a handful of true post players in the Louisville area and has come a long way over the last two years. In his development, Keashawn has gone from an afterthought to a starting center for one of the best programs in the state. If he continues to improve at the rate he has been, Jordan will be looking at scholarship offers in the future.
Bowling Green may be a narrow favorite in the 4th region thanks to Mason Ritter Mason Ritter 6’8″ | C Bowling Green | 2024 State KY and MJ Wardlow MJ Wardlow 6’1″ | PG Bowling Green | 2024 State KY but it is the continued development of the younger Wardlow that could be a determining factor in the Purples making a run to Rupp. Jace is very skilled and a good athlete. The emergence of the 6’0″ guard as a reliable third scorer for Bowling Green could give them a leg up in the race with Warren Central to win the 4th.
