Fludd has made the move to San Jose Prep and has hand a very impressive month of June. He scored 20 points in a game on Saturday and showed the ability to be both a scorer or distributor. He has high level quickness, is athletic enough to finish above the rim, is a capable open shot maker and plays with plenty of confidence.

I was impressed by Marcello this June when I watched him for the first time with Cane Bay High School. He submitted his highlights from his Grassroots Season with Carolina Hoopz and I again liked what I saw. Fludd showed some shiftiness in beating his defender off the dribble, lots of skill getting to his spots and connecting from the mid-range, and strength in finishing through contact at the rim. Marcello is also a very good on-ball defender with good hands and a knack for picking the pocket of his matchup.

Marcello Fludd Marcello Fludd 6'2" | PG San Jose Prep | 2027 NC begins my list of 2026 Standouts from the Lower part of the State at the 2024 SCBCA Live Team Camp. Fludd is a Guard capable of creating scoring chances off the bounce thanks to his handle and quickness. Marcello is also well-trained in playing off two feet in the lane. On defense, he moves his feet to keep opposing ball handlers in front and has quick hands to rip away the ball in help situations. He went for 8 Points, 4 Rebounds, and 2 Steals off the bench in a matchup with Blythewood.
