As soon as teams try to take away his elite outside shooting, he switches to downhill mode where he constantly finishes above the rim. Nearly having back to back 20 point per game averages for the Eagles and coming off an exceptional summer, expect Dillon to surge all year.

Mason is a guy that has made a massive jump into the top ten from the 70s and that’s partially because we were too low on him in the last update and he’s proven himself to be a bonafide division one talent as he’s a true swiss army knife on both ends of the floor. Mason also rose in the rankings like this without even playing in the month of July due to injury so there’s no telling where he’d be if we were able to see him again during our trip in Richmond. Mason had such a strong June with Southlake Christian as his game continues to round into form and that is largely what led to his jump in the rankings as he’s proving himself to be a no brainer division one prospect.

During both of the NCISAA Live Sessions, Mason was doing absolutely everything for this Southlake Christian team as they faced many of the top rosters in the State of North Carolina. He’s got on-ball ability while possessing a strong frame on top of being a true + athlete at both ends of the floor. He’s proving to be a very very talented two way wing that will undoubtedly get some real recruiting attention in July if he’s able to keep this up.

Played a major part in his team success on Saturday, providing a nice amount of offensive production. He made plays on and off the ball, got downhill and played through varies amounts of contact when he attacked the paint.

Mason’s ability to create offense for himself despite a ton of attention from the opposing defense being placed on him is really special to watch. He’s essentially a mismatch for everyone as he possesses a strong frame and the ability to get where he wants on the floor with his dribble. You have to send two guys at Mason to stop him and he looks like another true gem to come out of Southlake Christian with the last one being Micah Hanglodten who won a national championship at Florida in 2025.
