About Malachi

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My game is all about making the play. My defense kills and i’m working diligently on my shooting skills.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My character shows dedication, resilience, teamwork, and a positive attitude. Always inspiring others to push their limits and achieve their goals.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a proud member of a non for profit organization know as “Divinely Orchestrated” and I am directly associated with our brother club know respectfully as “Young Kings”. I have yet to receive any awards other than those from sports.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have grown to be a great listener and leader for my peers. Priding myself on constant efforts to fight ‘bullying’ and being a shoulder if needed and listener. I have shown myself to be a service to my community and those surrounding by being a consistent hands on helper at a food pantry ran by my family as well as assisting with monthly hot meals prepared for the men’s and women’s shelter.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Well, going into high school this past fall was definitely a challenge and a test. A test of my faith in myself and my skill. Not being a starting quarterback when I know I worked hard for the position and not getting the recognition I seeked for that. With my family on my side I remained humble and focused knowing that God is in control.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to explore colleges and universities that have a great and culturally appropriate curriculum. Also those with really good sports teams as I am a multisport athlete. A program that I can gain a lot from while i’m there.
