Ryan O’Shea was a bright spot for Pure Hoops in their hard fought battle against Handles x Buckets. He was hunting shots from the outside, and connected on at least three triples. He also drove to the hoop a few times and dropped in not so easy finishes. On the defensive end, O’Shea was utilizing his quickness and active hands to frustrate opponents. Although Pure Hoops lost, I liked how he competed and shot the ball.

Ryan O’Shea can score in a variety of ways. He knocks down shots from 3-point land, leaks out in transition, and converted a nice give-and-go bucket. His instincts are evident, and he’s also a willing passer, swinging the rock to open teammates if they’re left unmarked. O’Shea makes his presence felt on the defensive end as well, where he applies consistent ball pressure. Look for his stock to rise sooner rather than later.
