About Lukas

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Heady player that can read the game and can distribute the ball in a timely manner. I have the ability to get my own offense whether shooting or driving. My tenacity on the defensive end may be my strongest asset.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Never quit mentality and the ability to stay focused in pressure moments. Easy going and great teammate.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Academics

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have been the best athlete and player on many teams growing up. I take pride in making sure all are involved and really try to bring the team together.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes. Dealing with situations where there is politics and picking and choosing on who plays regardless of their abilities and having to deal with lack of encouragement by coaches who have their own agendas. I am mentally prepared moving forward after dealing with those adversities.

Ladson scored 17 points and dished out 4 assists while being money at the free throw line to help the VIP Kings win the Prep Hoops Circuit Grit Region Championship. The 6’1″ guard had a couple of other big, double-figure scoring outputs throughout the weekend as well. He is a confident playmaker off of the bounce that found success getting to the rim and finishing inside. Another Trinity High School product, Ladson is more than capable as a catch-and-shoot threat as well. He played very well at the Grit Region Finals and is taking home the hardware to show for it.
