-While it was a rough shooting day for Barney from the charity stripe, he impacted the game in a big way for South River with his paint touches. The physical 6’2 guard gets to his spots and uses some advanced footwork to navigate around the defense and get to the basket. He makes the right read to either score or create for others and doesn’t get sped up by the defense. His gritty play at both ends of the floor was key for a South River team that put his game away early. Interested to see what college coach pulls the trigger on this steady senior PG.

Barney made a ton of huge plays in this one but none better than the go-ahead floater in the paint through the contact to put his team up for good. The stocky 6-2 senior guard is a physical downhill driver that did a great job of using his scoring gravity after a few made 3s to find teammates for open shots–mostly 3-point bombs in this one. Barney finished with a near double-double at 14p 8a 2s 1r
