About Lar’Vertious-De’Marvion

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Exceptional 3pt shooter with a deep bag of moves. Always the most hyped and aggressive player on the court, especially towards opponents who don't look like me. I shoot many behind the back shots (making many of them), leaving defenders to press me every time I receive the ball. This leads me to get frustrated and use my 250-pound body to push through the contact.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I get bullied at school and have much trauma for losing my parents at 12 years old, so any comments or trash talk usually provokes me to be the most aggresive player on the court. My career averages of 2 technicals and 4 tackles per game reflect this. Although I have gotten ejected many times for being offensive towards crowds and players, my Kobe-esque mentality leaves opponents traumatized.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Curling club, won hot dog eating championship 2 years in a row at my high school

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I love little kids, so I try to get any sort of volunteer post with them involved. This makes me play better when they are in the crowd. I am considered a leader in the team shower and have helped my teammates develop a very strong right forearm.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My parents brutally died when I was 12, and my sister was kidnapped a couple months ago. I have been in many mental hospitals and anger management facilities, as well as rehab.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any prestigious D1 college, especially Southeastern schools such as Alabama, Kentucky, and Florida.
