Landyn caught fire from beyond the arc versus Hopkins on Saturday. He could not miss out of the catch-and-shoot, as he would knock down shots after teammates drive and kicks or in pick and pop situations. He has a very quick release and was taking advantage of opponents not getting a hand up right when he caught the ball. The senior forward also cleaned up after teammate’s misses with several second chance baskets. He finished the tight loss with a season-high 23 points. Nelson was also a standout player on the gridiron, as he had a very solid senior season, quarterbacking Andover to a 7-3 record.
