Particularly active as a help side shot blocker and defensive rebounder, the center provided a consistent impact throughout his matchups.

Polk played the traditional big man role on defense, patiently awaiting drivers to swat away shots at the rim, grabbing at least 5 blocks in this matchup. Grabbing a few blocks throughout this matchup, opponents had to think twice about attempting shots while he was in the vicinity. The center had about as dominant a defensive performance as any point this season, although his last game, he finished off on a high note.

The big man is a brick wall in the post, although most productive on the glass this season. His sturdy frame and willing reactions around the paint have helped propel Vista Peak into one of the state’s most formidable programs. He holds a variety of juco offers from Southeast CC, Missouri State West Plains, Phoenix College, McCook, and D3 program Buena Vista.

He was a player that was able to use his size and score in the paint over smaller defenders. He had a couple games where he was able to get some great looks and score with ease. Would be unstoppable if he was able to get more aggressive at times.

Polk has been making an impact this spring/summer as he has been a presence in the paint. He is a player that can alter shots in the paint and make driving player kick it back out. He has quick feet at his size to be able to rotate and get over quickly in help side. He has the ability to crash the boards on both ends and can give his team some second chance opportunities. At times he can score over the smaller defenders, using his size to his advantage.
