Roth is a player who caught our attention to start the Spring as he’s a prospect who has an intriguing skill combination. He’s physical around the basket, very active not eh boards and impactful defensively. He fills a ton of holes. While those all say big man, he then showed he’s capable of knocking down the 3-ball and confidently stretching the floor. That versatility changes things. You can see the framework of a versatile beginning to emerge, and those perimeter flashes make him a player we want to see more of moving forward. He made the watch list debut after having a solid Spring with Rise. 

Roth delivered a strong performance built on effort, versatility and physical presence. In the paint, he was active on the boards, consistently fighting for offensive rebounds and creating additional scoring opportunities for his team. Defensively, he made his presence felt by altering shots and recording blocks, making it difficult for opponents to score inside. What separated Roth from many players in his role was his ability to extend the defense, as he stepped out and knocked down four three pointers in a game against Noco. This combination of interior presence and perimeter shooting added a unique dimension to his game. Roth’s all-around impact made him one of the more intriguing 14U prospects in attendance.
