Kirkendall has tools you want to keep tabs on and when/if they start to click, then the ceiling rises. He’s a long, athletic guard who defends hard, competes every possession, and does the little things. Offensively, he’s unselfish and knows how to get downhill, draw defenders, and kick it. He also plays with energy and fits well in an up-tempo system. I’d love to see him in a showcase where he can match up with top guards and let his motor and length speak for itself. Good spot to prove himself.
