Pro One 16 U team has a ton of size and athleticism and they impressed me on Saturday with their depth of talent. Luster stood out with some strong interior finishes and contributions on the glass. Once Luster adds more weight to his frame he will become even tougher to stop on the interior because he was playing with toughness despite his skinnier frame. Luster also had a monster game earlier in the week Vs Dc Premier and is ranked in the top five in Alabama’s 2028 class for a reason right now.

Khalil showed a versatile frontcourt profile with shooting touch, low-block matchup value, and activity on the glass. He made multiple threes, contested shots, and used footwork and finesse when he got an advantage around the basket. The mismatch piece is important because he can punish smaller defenders on the block while still giving some floor-spacing value. The next step is strength and if he gets stronger and holds his ground defensively in the post, the skill set becomes much easier to project.

Khalil is a name to remember in his class. Just a sophomore, he already shows a high-level feel for the game and tremendous upside. Luster continues to make a name for himself with his skill set and athleticism. He can stretch the floor, handle the ball, create off the dribble, and knock down shots making him a true offensive threat. He also understands how to exploit mismatches, showing maturity beyond his years. Coming off a strong summer with We All Can Go on the Puma Circuit, Luster is poised for a big sophomore season.
