Another GMC standout, Adorno is an elite shooter from the point guard position. Finishing his senior season scoring 14 PPG on 40% from 3-point range and a 2.7 to 1.8 A/TO ratio, Adorno checks a lot of boxes that college coaches look for in a point guard. A bit undersized, Adorno is going to have to defend bigger and stronger players at the next level. His pesky defense did allow him to average 1.8 steals per game, showing his ability to compete on that end of the floor.

Adorno was one of the top performers I’ve seen in the playoffs so far with an efficient 15 point showing against Loveland. Adorno is one of the top shooters in SW Ohio and also made some ridiculous passes. A bit undersized, Adorno relies on his shooting and off-ball movement to make plays in a guard-oriented offense for Princeton. Adorno is shooting 42% from 3-point range and 81% from the free throw line in one of the toughest leagues in Ohio. Scholarship programs should be checking out Adorno as he plays for a district title against Moeller on Saturday.

Adorno, who has played for Puerto Rico’s national team at youth levels is playing his first season in the OHSAA with Princeton. Adorno is scoring 15 PPG on 51/40/80 shooting splits in one of the toughest leagues in Ohio. I’m impressed by the pace that Adorno plays with and his ability to get to his spots without being the quickest guy on the court. His touch is another aspect of his game that will translate to the college level. I’m a big fan of what Adorno can bring to a team and think scholarship programs should be giving him a look.

Adorno helped lead Coach Bryan Wyant to his first victory over Moeller in dominating fashion. Adorno was knocking down shots from everywhere and has such great touch on his jumper. Adorno finished the game 6-10 from the floor and 3-4 from 3-point range. Adorno plays with good pace on the ball and got after it defensively with three steals. Adorno is now a senior so he will be added to our 2023 rankings when those get updated within the next few weeks. Princeton also got production from guards
