Expert Analysis
Tom Keller | Prep Hoops Scout
Cass is an offensive juggernaut who really knows how to find the rim. He was constantly converting on shots from behind the arc. He was very forceful getting into the paint on the attack. Cass has a nice blend of strength and speed. He will make a college program very happy with his ability to help the team.

A talented guard who put up sneaky numbers in one of the toughest conferences in Ohio as a sophomore. In a crowded back-court at Princeton, Cass put up 9.1 PPG on 50% shooting from the floor with 2.4 assists per game. Quick off the bounce, Cass showed the ability to attack a closeout and with the graduation of

‘s hands a majority of the time next season. Cass has the ability to knock it down from the perimeter, making 24 3-pointers at 33% and I expect the volume to increase next season. Be sure to watch out for Cass next season with the Vikings.

Cass has had a breakout season for Head Coach Bryan Wyant and the Vikings, scoring 9.5 PPG and having an efficient 13 point outburst in the playoff victory on Tuesday. Cass is a skilled guard who is a capable shooter from 3-point range as his 33% mark on the season shows. Princeton is undersized but their defensive ball pressure and floor spacing makes them a tough team to match-up with and Cass is one of the many talented guards on their team. Princeton plays with a fast tempo and what I liked about Cass was his unselfishness to throw it ahead to teammates to start the fast break and how the ball didn’t stick in his hands. I expect Cass to be in the 13-16 PPG range as a Junior and start to establish himself as one of the top guards in the GMC.
