His physicality was evident all night, consistently bullying his way to the rim and finishing through contact. He frequently found ways to crash the offensive glass, creating second-chance opportunities. Semplice knocked down two three-pointers in the win and showed great timing defensively, jumping passing lanes and coming away with steals. Should be a priority for small college programs.

Semplice is a physical downhill thumping guard, who uses his physicality to run you over. He converts easy buckets inside regularly. Semplice had 15 of his 23 in the 2nd half which was huge for CV’s momentum. He was able to score playing with his back to the bucket. Semplice also made a handful of shots at the foul line. He’s a tweener and is stuck between a few positions which can hurt his long-term ability at the college level due to his lack of size and he’s probably more of a 3/2 then he is a point guard or combo guard because of that. I am unsure who he is consistently guarding at the college level. His lack oSemplice would be a good small college fit and could see a lot of time if he adds those pieces to his game in his career.

Semplice flashed on both ends of the floor throughout the game. He was able to get to different spots on the attack when going downhill. He came up with rebounds. Semplice has a nose for the ball. He showed some flashes from behind the arc and had two threes. Semplice showed that he could get to the foul line. He is a bit of a tweener and stuck in-between positions. He is someone who small colleges should be prioritizing.

He has a nose to come up with steals on the defensive end. Semplice finds his open teammates and gets them good looks for them to convert on. He provides a pop as scorer as an attacker or from three.

Julian Semplice Julian Semplice 5'11" | CG Chartiers Valley | 2026 State PA is an explosive combo guard with a polished game. He plays with excellent body control and touch when he gets to the paint. Semplice has good shooting mechanics and range. He reads the floor at a high level and makes the extra pass. He is a totally unselfish player, yet can score at will when needed. He has good open-floor speed in transition. His tenacious style and athletic tools have helped him stand out this summer on the AAU circuit with Wildcat Select.
