Hicks is an underrated shooter that has came along quickly in the past few months with Wilson Prep, showing his ability to get his own shot off the bounce and knock down the open one. He hit 45 threes on the season at a 37% clip, which should translate to being a slightly above average shooter immediately at the college level. With Wilson Prep expected to make a deep run in the state tournament, expect Hicks to knock down more threes and continue to prove his worth as a shooter.

Hicks was a confident threat on the perimeter, finding ways to put pressure on the opponent with his ability to shoot the basketball. He knocked down five 3-pointers and finished with 20 points to pace the backcourt. He’s grown tremendously at the off-guard role and has supreme confidence shooting the 3-ball.
