Ferguson continued to shine as a bucket-getting guard for Team Trezz , leading all scorers with 19 in their win over a tough Carolina Pressure team. Continued to show that he can get buckets at the next level with his ability to get to his spots off the dribble, as well as getting to the rim and not shying away from bumps or physical contact. Solid shooter from the outside as well, knocked down a couple jumpers when I saw him. Should be an outstanding get late in the cycle for a JuCo or a D2 that takes him.

He also helped his team out on the glass by hauling in seven rebounds – including five on the offensive glass. Ferguson also gave his team a lift by drawing contact, getting to the free throw line and making six of his eight attempts from the stripe. The college game awaits where Ferguson will play at Belmont Abbey.

The Tigers are once again entering the state playoffs as the #1 seed in the East Region and will look to cut down the nets in a few weeks. Leading the team in scoring at just over 17 Points per game, he gets the job done in various ways. He’s strong, athletic and plays the game with the old school toughness that you don’t see too often these days.

Ferguson continues to lead the Wilson Prep Academy attack with efficiency despite the loss. He finished with 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the floor and also had five rebounds and three assists to lead the way for the Tigers. He’s remained a consistent presence in their backcourt as they look to repeat as state champions. DII and DIII programs in the region should get eyes on him.

Ferguson was an instant spark off the bench for WPA as he showed off his ability to take on contact and finish through contact consistently. He was a confident presence when the ball came his way as he finished with 17 points to round out WPA’s scoring attack. He’ll be another new face to watch with this group as an unsigned senior.
