Kubik caught our eye with his relentless defense and high motor. He was a menace on the ball, moved laterally with ease, and consistently contested without fouling. His help-side awareness was next-level and it made up for other defensive lapses behind him. That’s a great defender. Offensively, he hit from the outside and showed some shiftiness off the dribble. A true two-way guard who brought energy and made his presence felt on both ends. Very solid Day 1 for him.
