Some may not recognize the value Brown brings, but his intangibles matter. He’s a competitive hard playing guard, that gets underneath opposing ballhandlers. He’s willing to fight for 50/50 balls no matter the size of the opponent, and like during his HS season he iss one of the best teammates on the court.

Brown didn’t have a huge statistical year for DP, but he saw minutes and proved to be a tough defender, especially when guarding the ball. Look for his speed and defensive ability to help an AAU program this summer, which in turn will help him get additional attention.

Brown plays hard, and he made an impact and earned minutes for his willingness to defend. He was good when he defended on ball, using low stance and good lateral quickness to stay in front of shifty ballhandlers.

Brown is a glue guy player that adds depth to Desert Pines. He’s an on ball, and pressure defensive specialist that will provide perimeter defense, and depth at the guard spots. He makes the top 100 in his first appearance on the list.

Brown was mentioned as one of the suprise players on the squad. I really liked the guards defensive effort and energy. He played at the top of DP’s aggressive press during full court play, showing active hands and the ability to get defelctions. The scrappy guard is sneaky good, and should contribute on the perimeter for the squad.
