, the Northern Nevada Player Of The Year, has committed to Southwestern Oregon Community College. He is a solid shooter and can knock down shots from the perimeter. Macias also has some burst and knows how to get to the rack. On defense, he will pick his opponents pocket if they aren’t careful.

Macias leveraged his acceleration skills to get to the basket and drew contact on a few of his takes. His opponents had a tough time staying in front of him and he got them to foul them as he was attempting to shoot. Macias ended up going seven of seven from the free throw line, and also chipped in a pair of 3-pointers.

I was thoroughly impressed with Macias. He was a cold blooded assasain all week, who loved to put the dagger into opponents. He showed a quick release, and maintained his mechanics against fast closing defenders. He made multiple catch and shoot threes in both the Semis and Championship game.

It’s almost impossible to watch Macias without taking notice of him, especially when he’s knocking down threes like he did on this day. The junior guard burried multiple run killing threes in the semis. Behind his shooting, the Ranch advanced to the 4A state title game.
