is up to #41 in the new 2027 rankings. He’s a skilled scorer who gets to his spots efficiently and can get all the way to the cup when he punches the gas pedal. He can also drive and dish if a teammate is open on the wing or corner for a catch and shoot opportunity. As a defender, Hoffman uses his quickness to his advantage. Helping him produce over a steal a game this past season.

is a point guard who utilizes deceptive ball handling maneuvers to get where he needs to go. He also has the ability to decelerate and accelerate in the blink of an eye. Which helps him create enough separation to get his shot off. Many of his buckets come near the rim, but he can also connect on both jumpers and 3’s if he gets a clean look.

Hoffman really impressed when I caught him in the back gym early in the season. A good two way player, Hoffman has the talent and skill to be a future stockriser. He is one of the highest new additions in the rankings, coming in as a top 60 player in his first appearance.

Hoffman was one of the most impressive freshmen a saw during the week. Look for him to make an appearance in the next update of the freshman rankings, as he impressed with his defensive ability. He has tremendous instincts, using them to win the game with a steal and layup. In addition to what he did on the defensive side of the ball, he showed some advanced footwork, which he highlighted with euro’s on his drives to the basket.
