About Jeremiah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

High energy on both ends of the floor, always looking to bring value to the team. Whether that is on the defensive end locking down my man, blocking shots, playing the passing lane and getting rebounds. Or on the offensive end looking to make the right reads, communicating with my teammates or getting offensive rebounds. I love winning and helping my team win.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Humble but always Hungry to get better. A true student of the game.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a member of the "Champions Chess Club" where I volunteer to teach kids how to play chess. I am also a volunteer for basketball camps during the summer where we teach kids the basics of basketball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I have learned how to be a leader by being a great listener and follower first. I have a big brother and I am also a big brother in my family. In terms of basketball, I have been team mates of 4 Division 1 players who all have different ways of leading the team. I have learned from their success and developed my own way of being a leader and a great team mate.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I lost my grandfather and a close family member all in within a few months. My father and my mother helped me stay focused and not get down too much even though it hurt a lot. It taught me to value the time that I do have and continue to be the best version of myself. Life is a gift and I want to share mines with the world.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking for a school where I can build a genuine relationship with the coaching staff and players. I believe I still have room to grow as a player and a person. With the right environment and support, I feel I have a lot to offer a school on and off the court.
