Capable of defending multiple positions and scoring inside and out, Jayson is capable of impacting winning in various ways. In state schools would be wise to recruit Jayson as he can make a splash at the small college level as soon as next year.

for Male, they had to rely on some new faces to step up in a battle of two of the better teams in Kentucky. In stepped Gasaway who had a monster fourth quarter to help push his team to victory. The forward did a nice job finishing plays on the block and from the elbow after his guards would either beat the press or attack off the dribble. Gasaway also had a couple tough rebounds and knocked down a 3-pointer to help ice the game. Great performance by a role player in a big spot!

One of the more unheralded players in Louisville, Gasaway does a little bit of everything for Male on a nightly basis. Jayson can score the ball but also makes a difference with his toughness and rebounding. He’s the heart of the Male team and should be on the radar for in-state schools.

Gasaway is one of the more overlooked players in Louisville because he has played with a ton of talent over his career and doesn’t have a lot of flash in his game. Jayson is extremely effective as a driver and shooter as well as a threat to post up smaller players around the bucket. He checks a lot of boxes that impact winning and is a valuable piece for Coach Haworth’s Bulldogs.
