Another member of Hilliard Bradley’s state runner-up team, Reed-Davis hit the game-winning layup at the buzzer to take Bradley to the title game. Reed-Davis is the prototypical 3-and-D wing because he knocks down shots off the catch at a high rate and also defends multiple positions at an elite level. A winner, Reed-Davis played on the 15 U Midwest Basketball Club 3SSB team that won the 3SSB title at Rock Hill and also was a starter on the Division I state runners-up at Hilliard Bradley this winter. Winning happens for whatever team Reed-Davis is wearing a jersey of.

Wings who are athletic, tough, play defense and make shots are incredibly valuable and that’s what Reed-Davis does. Whether it’s with Hilliard Bradley or Midwest Basketball Club 3SSB , Reed-Davis impacts winning on both ends of the court. His length allows him to defend up positionally in ways you might not expect based on his height. I like that Reed-Davis plays his role and doesn’t try and do crazy stuff with the basketball to show off some ball handling ability. Simplicity can sometimes have the greatest impact on winning and Reed-Davis ability to make shots and defend are simple skills that many players cannot master.

Reed-Davis is a young player I am a huge fan of. He is just so competitive on the floor and is not scared of anyone. He is not the biggest player on the court, but he plays as if he is. He finishes strong and towards the rim every time he goes up. He was in a great offensive rhythm in the game I watched Bradley play. This started in transition as he got easy buckets. He was knocking down shots off the dribble well. I expect him to be a bigger scorer this upcoming season, and he is ready for it. He is shooting it with confidence and is looking for scoring opportunities. I like what Reed-Davis showed, and he seems poised for a big year.

and Reed-Davis to fire away from long range and this underclassmen trio were the catalysts for the shock start. I was most impressed with Reed-Davis who made shots confidently off the catch, made good decisions against the full court pressure and competed as an athlete on both ends of the court. While coming up just short is disappointing for the Jags, they should be excited with how their 2027 and 2028 prospects played

Another interesting name to watch in central Ohio’s 2028 class, Reed-Davis has some physical tools to work with down the road. Already holding a long wingspan and active hands and feet defensively, Reed-Davis looks like a prospect who will be one of the best wing and guard defenders when he’s an upperclassman in the state. I was also impressed with the perimeter shooting that Reed-Davis showed, knocking down a few shots with his feet set and he had another couple close misses.
