Among the more electric guards we saw on the day, Carter caught the eye during his lone game of the morning before really taking center stage in the Top-30 all-star game. A slender, quick guard with length to grow into over time, Carter was effective using his slick handle to create space for a feathery jumper that he had no issue getting off over bigger defenders. He played with tremendous confidence and looked to be one of the more dynamic natural scorers in the gym. We’ll have to see him in more structured settings, and there’s a long way to go as Carter is barely 14 and a half years old, but he’s certainly on the radar after his standout weekend.
