finds himself just outside the Top 10 at No. 12 following quite the productive year in the EE Smith frontcourt. He’s a big man at 6-foot-8 that’s found his way around the rim with 22.5 ppg, 12.9 rpg and 2.6 bpg as the Golden Bulls made it down to the Region Finals before falling to Northwood High. He’s set to make his presence felt in years to come for the College of Charleston frontcourt in the near future.

Put together an outstanding season from start to finish and would lead EE Smith to a regional championship game appearance for the first time in over two years. He dominated inside the paint on both ends of the floor and showcased why so many D1 programs were interested in him.

Provided a nice amount of offense for his team, accounting for just under half of their total points on the day. Throughout the season he made his impact on games on both sides of the ball inside the post and that’s exactly what we saw from him in their matchup with Northwood.

He got off to a slower start in the first quarter but really got in going in the second quarter with his ability to score inside, draw fouls and rebound at high rate. One of his best attributes is that he understands how to use his height to his advantage, and he knows how to make himself a big target for guards to throw the entry pass into the post.

The only advice we can give is, make sure you check the backboards and the rims when this young man steps in the gym. He was absolutely dominant inside of the paint from start to finish, scoring inside at a high level and blocking a number of shots on the defensive end of the floor. We love the fact that he understands what his strengths are and plays to them, he doesn’t attempt to do anything that he’s not fully comfortable with.

Anytime you have a player that is 6’10, agile, and doesn’t hesitate to crash the boards on either end of the floor, you have a player that you have to be excited about and College of Charleston fans should be excited about the upside he has. He scored the majority of his points in transition or finishing dunks off lob passes, had several blocked shots and a nice number of rebounds on the day. He does a great job of playing to his strengths and not attempting to do things that he’s not fully comfortable with.
