About Patrick

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Swiss Army knife. Can play any role needed. Passes well, works inside-out, with high iq and a defensive mindset. Gaurds 1-5

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality and personality match. I’m always aiming to win. If I have to make space for other players and people to do that, I am more than willing to do so. On the court, before anything else, defense is my priority. I believe that no matter how much you can score, if you cannot get stops, you’re wasting energy.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a current member of Jack and Jill of America, an African American organization for teens and their mothers. I am also in the national beta club, a club that focuses on leadership and community service.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a natural born leader. I will however admit, at some points, I do not act that way. My teamwork is great and I can mesh with almost anyone.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My challenge has been staying motivated. I have plenty of supporters behind me, but sometimes basketball gets overwhelming.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a school where I can take both my athletics and academics seriously. One where the community accepts me and I fit in well.

Plays the game with a very high motor which is something that you have to love to see from a youngster that is playing the Power Forward position despite standing at 6’4. He rebounded the ball at a high level and finished around the basket at a solid rate.

He’ll be another presence in the frontcourt to know with this group given his strong frame and length at 6-foot-4. Barber is a prospect who’s quickly working his way off the Watch List in the 2026 class in North Carolina. He’s been seen extensively over the past few months and remains a consistent presence inside and out for this group to rely on. It wouldn’t surprise me to see him act as the ultimate Sixth Man to have in 2024-25 given his size.
