With a couple key pieces missing from the Gill backcourt, Dixon had the chance to step up and showcase himself as a primary playmaker. He seized the opportunity, stepping up impressively to lead the undermanned Knights in a tight overtime loss to Holy Cross (NY). A returning contributor from last year, Dixon looks ready to be a fixture in the starting lineup thanks to his ability to get north/south off the dribble, where he uses his broad shoulders to bounce off contact and create angles to finish or kick out to teammates. He looks to be a capable shooter out to the perimeter as well and could continue to emerge as a scholarship-level guard as we see more of him over the next year.
