Jakob has some nice versatility in his game and could see a big role in the future for Mac. Strong scorer with nice handle to shake off defenders. Already a consistent shooter from the outside. I expect Jakob to have a big role on JV for the next year or two as he further develops his game for the tough WCAC varsity level. Can provide a wave of baskets in a hurry and has a wide range of potential if he continues to put in good work.

Solid guard with good size. Plays with pace and control. Rangy intriguing size has the look of growing a couple of more inches and feeling out his frame. Shot it well off the dribble/catch and showed he could finish with the off (L) hand at the rim. Jakob has the look of being a potential scoring lead guard in the future.

-Handles it well for a player his size, good balance and consistency on the pullup jumpers, scores it well through contact in transition. Love his vision in the open floor– Royster understands how to let the play develop and passes his teammates open with regularity. That type of pace and feel are irregular from such a young prospect. Really good usage of his pivot and spin moves/euro steps to create open lanes to the rim and widen passing windows. Love how effortlessly he vacillates between creating for himself and teammates in the halfcourt. Think he has a ton of upside defensively as well because of how well he understands positioning and anticipating his matchup’s move before they begin their momentum.
