-Has a lot of wiggle on the ball as a creative scorer that doesn’t need a ball screen to get to his spots. Morris sees the floor and times his crossovers or hard drives well to the rim to get into the teeth of the defense to force rotations. If he can morph into a knockdown perimeter shooter off the ball– I wouldn’t be surprised to see him carve out a role for himself at McNamara.

-Didn’t take a ton of shots but took the right shots, in-rhythm and with a consistent follow-through. Most of the 3 point makes came off of spot-up C+S looks but the fluidity of the midrange pull-up off the bounce gives some optimism to the offense upside. Morris moved the rock well in the halfcourt, driving to space and drawing two before executing the crosscourt read to a teammate. Would like to see him play with more assertiveness because the skillset is there!

-Loved the patience and poise that Morris played with throughout the event as a guard that finds ways to help his team on or off the ball. He had a nice drive to the rim, bumped the defender with his inside shoulder before he finished just past the help defender at the rim. Followed that up in the same game by knocking down a 3 and dishing out assists in back to back possessions to teammates in transition.
