Ari is already a solid rotational piece on varsity for St. Mary’s Annapolis. He does a solid job of finding the scorers and keeping the ball moving. Has shown that he has the poise to be effective on both ends of the floor even as a freshman. Ari will be stacked up against the cream of the crop in terms of the BCL guards, but his early experience should reap great benefits in the long run. Hopson’s got a chance to rise up the ranks and become on of the best guards in the class over time.

Shifty quick guard. Ari impress with his ability to create for himself or teammates in a camp environment. Which is sometime a hard adjustment for a lot of youngsters in that kind of setting. Looked comfortable stroking the 3.

Ari was impressive overall with his game. Played with an edge that was clear to see through the whole day. I liked the way he kept the same level of energy and pace, giving him an advantage. Ari showed he could shoot the ball very consistently from range but wasn’t afraid to take the ball down low off the dribble. Played consistent and disciplined defensively.
