About Jacob

What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?

My biggest strength is being able to make the right play when it is needed. I don’t force the ball to go in when the shot’s not falling, but instead I focus on working extra hard on defense and rebounding. Or if the team needs a score, I can get to my spot and get a bucket.

What are you working to improve right now?

My ball handling and shooting. I have gotten a lot more consistent from the 3-point line, but I’m working to become even more consistent. I’m also getting better at ball handling to be able to relieve pressure from guards as a trail man, and to get downhill more.

What are you looking for in a college program?

I am looking for a place where I can get a good education, while improving my basketball skills as much as possible.

Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?

I am a devout Catholic.

There were some whispers about Seyffert coming out of the Wes Leonard Classic. The high upside forward is showing an improved scoring punch. Seyffert is a forward that could have a really nice improvement curve and should be a prospect to keep a close eye on.
