About Jackson

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Jackson is an outstanding shooter, a high IQ wing who can rebound and finish in traffic. This past year, Jackson led his team and conference with 19ppg and 10rpg. During the 2025 EYCL season, his team won their conference and made it to the EYBL championship league. Jackson averaged 12.5ppg and 6rpg throughout the EYCL season.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Focused and driven; talkative on the court and quiet off-court; observant and a quick learner.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Silver Key award winner at the National Scholastic Writing and Arts Awards 2025 for written work. Member of the National Honor Society of High School Scholars.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Team Captain basketball - 2 years. Consistently volunteer at Gods Love We Deliver which provides meals to homebound New Yorkers.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Broke my leg at the end of my freshman year, which caused me to miss the AAU season. This setback caused me to work even harder on my strength, conditioning and shooting so I could return in better form than before.

Cullert’s impact can sometimes be overlooked given that so much of it comes without the ball in his hands, but make no mistake about how important the junior’s role is toward winning basketball. A sharpshooting swingman, Cullert contributed 11 points with his four field goals coming off a total of zero dribbles. He thrives in Hun’s movement-heavy system, finding open space along the perimeter for a smooth high-release jumper or converting easy layups on opportunistic cuts to the rim. Despite lacking strength, Cullert also uses his height and length to chip in as a rebounder. His blend of size, shooting, and IQ should make him a popular name among high-academic D1 programs over the course of the recruiting cycle.
